BIZ NELSON THEATRICAL DESIGNS

I am the Head of Theatre Design at Trinity Valley Community College and a freelance set, costume, light designer, and scenic artist. I'm also a current Region 6 Co-chair for Design/Technology/Management (DTM) for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF). I graduated with a MFA in Scenography from the University of Kansas in 2010, and BA in Theatre from Northwestern College (Orange City, IA) in 2007. I have designed and been a scenic artist for the Creede Repertory Theatre. I have worked in various roles for several companies including: Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Unicorn Theatre, and the Santa Fe Opera.
